The initial idea is to escape the CSP summer school and the heat of Grenoble ... but there is no heat. We nevertheless escape for a walk around Mont Aiguille in the Vercors. On the plateau, there is limited visibility, muddy ground, and we follow more often the most comfortable rather than the right direction towards Col de l’Essaure. We end up at a completely wrong place surrounded by a herd of unusually aggressive cows. They always gather around us and kind of threaten … until we make an end to it with the help of a pretty small stick; they immediately take a distance and finally trot away.
