FM takes place this year in the tropical Singapore: it’s hot and humid, nights last from “7 to7” and it rains 260 days a year; as the locals say “if it didn’t rain yesterday, it will rain today” – but the rain never lasts long, and right after the sun comes out again. During this far too short visit, I got some glimpses of the modern Singapore in the downtown area, Chinatown and the tropical vegetation which is everywhere and in particular in the forest between the MacRitchie and the Lower Peirce Reservoir. But there is much more too see there ….
